Copenhagen - Helsingor - Malmoe
Arrival at Kastrup and 'quite disturbing. The airport, at 22.30 and 'practically deserted. All shops closed and a number of tourists to drag your luggage to the exit. Now the first difficulty ': the machine that issues your train tickets to Copenhagen, only when using credit cards with PIN ... Mah! Fortunately shall Antonio, with its PagoBancomat.
arrive at Central Station and soon reach the Best Western ... there are two of the following in the same way ... with a lot of confusion and panic to note that what we had initially addocchiato was not ours! The hotel is not 'exceptional but we are content.
Now semi-night walk through the streets of downtown. The Stroget at midnight on Friday and 'full of drunk guys (and girls drunk, to be precise) and although there is no to annoy, the sight of police officers intent to lie down face-to-earth and less quiet 'really disturbing.
The next morning we head straight for Radhuz Plats, the Town Hall Square, very nice. We continue towards the Slotsholmen, where we visit calmly Charlottenburg Castle and its interesting square in training horses. After a stroll in the neighborhood to admire the twisted spire of the Stock Exchange and the horrible Black Diamond, we move back toward the center, HojdePlatse, the heart of everyday life in Copenhagen. Here binged with 3 smørrebrød stuffed with anything edible (or almost) that comes to mind!
In the afternoon, we head straight for The Little Mermaid. We walk in the Stroget its entirety and we reach the lovely Nyhavn, a kind of Danish ships with a lot of guys sat down with the obligatory beer and talk among the tables of the many outdoor pubs and on the edge of the channel. From here we reach the green areas of Kastellet (including ducks and swans) and finally the rock of the Little Mermaid. And now 'because there' s only rock, as the Little Mermaid and 'in Shanghai for World Expo'!!!!!! Walking also admire Amelienburg and Marmorenkirken. Evening
based Danish pastries and while Pasquale, who still has the energy, go to dance salsa, Antonio and I fall into the arms of Morpheus.
On Sunday we spend the first Carlsberg Museum of Modern Art (perhaps the most 'beautiful Capital of Denmark) and then to the ex-factory dela beer of the same name. Under a constant drizzle, in the afternoon we head to Christiania (a fascinating place as seedy), passing under the glowing gardens of Tivoli, with its thrilling rides.
then return to the hotel, destroyed, but after a shower we go to eat at a wonderful Thai restaurant.
Monday we'll go a bit 'for a stroll on the Stroget, visit the Rundetårn, round tower from which you can admire a panoramic view of mediocre and then to the Botanical Gardens, free admission for a walk well worth doing. Very nice greenhouse. After seeing the Rosenborg Slot, here is just the unannounced. My blood pressure up, we decided to take the train to reach Elsinore to visit the castle of Hamlet. Sad town and castle held by disgust, but with 'a funny thing and that means' to visit the dark and terrifying secret. Here I fortunately left an umbrella, brand new to replace what I had destroyed the day before, between laughter and insults of Antonio and Pasquale ...
Back to Copenhagen in time to buy some souvenirs and then, after a break in the hotel, we make two steps in search of a nice little place to end up instead in a very good ice cream, fruit ice cream where I regenerate a cappuccino.
Tuesday morning salute Denmark and the train crossing the strait dell'Horesund on an incredible bridge, we reach Malmoe. Raining again. Malmoe and 'a town that has only two attractions. A pedestrian center rather nice, especially in the beautiful Stortorget in Lilla Torg and a building designed by the famous Calatrava, named TurningTorso meaning "building that wraps around itself" and in fact, and 'the one for 90 degrees of twist from top to bottom. For the rest nothing special 'from the shopping center near the tower consists of four shops and a tobacconist.
Captain in the middle of a very nice party. The graduates of the city 'roam in packs and half-drunk and screaming sound whistles through the streets of the center, greeted by the warmth of the passers-by. The joy of these kids and 'contagious even for us who admire them, envying their youth'! In the afternoon the same guys they go around in a line of trucks, style carnival floats "turned into disco camp.
evening at dinner in a lively in Lilla Torg and then Ninno.
The next day two more steps and then back to Kastrup. After breakfast in Sweden, we have lunch at the airport upon arrival in Denmark and conclude the trip with a dinner in my house in Italy. And that 's all!
